I don't feel like there's much to say about this page, but I rather like it, personally. Ky's lighthearted sassiness is very endearing to me here. I may just love sassiness though. XD

Anywho, hope you like the page!

I wanna see girl Drew.

Samantha, I don't know if you saw, but I responded to you two pages back.
Reimi 7th Jul 2017, 4:30 PM edit delete reply
Now that is an interesting idea...

I'm glad things are going okay and Ky is thankfully being fair to Drew. I'd like to point out that while Drew has issues with being seen as interested in men, it's more the school who won't allow it than Drew. Drew isn't comfortable, and I don't think that makes him a bad person just conflicted between how he feels and what he has been raised to believe, but the school outright won't allow two boys to go in together, so Ky being in a dress is kind of a prerequisite for entrance to the prom. As for Drew's issues, as long as he isn't being outright hurtful and hateful, I see nothing wrong with him having the time to get comfortable with himself and his sexuality.
DocMesa 7th Jul 2017, 10:35 AM edit delete reply
Aye. Its worth remembering all this is very new to Drew. Probably for many years he's "trained" his mind to think a certain way to fit in around others. Now he's seeing the world in a different light, but it's still going to take a long time. Its a start though and Ky seems just the right person to set him on his ass when he screws up....but also to encourage him when he does good too.
Rei 7th Jul 2017, 11:27 AM edit delete reply
While I'm sure getting used to it plays a role, I think the issue is more so the closet. Nor is his fear unfounded or unreasonable in this case. He's seen the harassment that Rudy has been subject to. It takes courage to open that door, and it could take Drew a while to do so.

On the otherhand, it's a good sign they're at least talking about it. Much better way to handle it than last time.
Fox 7th Jul 2017, 3:37 PM edit delete reply
I agree with both of you.
Mizore 8th Jul 2017, 1:41 PM edit delete reply
Just a thought, but what if she brought the suit in a bag (and have drew carry it saying it's a spare) so ky can change into it if the need arises.
Fox 8th Jul 2017, 4:48 PM edit delete reply
That's a thought.

I think the right answer to Ky's question is probably something along the lines of,

"What I mean is I wouldn't be upset. But don't waste money on a tux. If you're in boy mode at that time, let me know, and we can go hang out wherever, except not at my prom. Because my school sucks ass."
Emil 7th Jul 2017, 11:13 AM edit delete reply
I really hope they figure something out, like... Ky has to come in to Prom with a dress, but once in can change to whatever feels comfortable. Or maybe a compromise as in tux but still presenting female? (would something like that be possible, I don't know about Proms...) But I guess this is not how genderfluidity is for Ky, right? Cause mostly they present pretty binary. And I guess they would like to be read in the way they are presenting and when they start going there in a different way than later hanging out, this could be a big problem for them, as people would see them before coming in!???

Hold on a minute! If you look back at the comments on page 916: Blue or Pink, you see that someone who completes SRS gets one superpower, but is sworn to secrecy. Obviously, Ana chose teleportation, as revealed on that page when she teleports next to Emily.

But if Drew has a superpower too...does that mean all the apparent ignorance he's displayed is faked, in an effort to avoid being outed? Or, does it mean SRS isn't the only way to acquire superpowers?
Some Ed 12th Jul 2017, 7:07 PM edit delete reply
What Drew does might be impressive and magical, but that isn't a superpower.
Anon 7th Jul 2017, 12:41 PM edit delete reply
It would probably be awkward for Ky, and possibly not allowable. But in theory since Ky is a "girl" if "she" wore a tux, presumably the school'd, allow it? I'm not sure what their dance uniform policy looks like.
EpicSD 7th Jul 2017, 2:28 PM edit delete reply
I totally thought she said any hoe... lol
mecaterpillar 7th Jul 2017, 4:31 PM edit delete reply
The way Ky says it makes it sound as if it's Drew who gets to make the rules. It's not that Drew is not allowing it, it's just that Ky won't be allowed in (by those at the door) if they're wearing a tux. Most likely at least. This is not something within Drew's control in any way. That said, a thought did pop into my mind. What if Ky shows their ID? Might that get them through the door? Does the prom have a dress code that may be a problem still?
Jadelynn 7th Jul 2017, 6:30 PM edit delete reply
Ky's arguing semantics when Drew wasn't even disagreeing with her? He isn't the one saying they wouldn't be allowed, the school is.
Faceless 7th Jul 2017, 6:40 PM edit delete reply
I don't see that as arguing semantics. I see that as 'picking on your signif nicant other'. :)
Azure_Jorie 9th Jul 2017, 4:39 PM edit delete reply
I mean it's still arguing semantics technically, but yeah, my partner and I do that routinely. Gentle teasing is often par for the course. :P

Also it *is* a fair point. Drew said it wasn't that Ky wasn't allowed, but he *had* basically said they weren't allowed without actually using those words.
Mamukoot 10th Jul 2017, 2:11 AM edit delete reply
Wait...if they didn't do the whole Rain being Ryan to get channel in don't they have an easier alternative if Ky presents male.
That being Drew takes Chanel and Rain taking Male!Ky.
Although this plan being used is about a 50/50(I know that it doesn't work that way but it's the most simple way to put it) shot it still is one that someone whould probably consider based off of the certain....situation the group is in.
Seikueon 10th Jul 2017, 4:36 AM edit delete reply
Chanel wouldn't trust or feel comfortable with Drew. She's verrrry uncomfortable around males in general and Drew hasn't earned enough trust from pretty much anyone in the group.
Jocelyn 10th Jul 2017, 7:37 AM edit delete reply

Drew really wasn't ever an option for taking Chanel. Keep in mind that before all Drew's questioning, he had a reputation as an unrepentant pervert. So much so, that Maria didn't even trust him around Ana, who she didn't know yet. So why would Maria ever allow Drew around her well-endowed girlfriend who has trauma from sexual abuse as is?

To be fair, Drew may be totally harmless, but remember that he's not part of the main group and they haven't seen any development the readers have. Chanel and Maria have no reason, to their knowledge, to trust him.

> So much so, that Maria didn't even trust him around Ana, who she didn't know yet.

Huh... ok. I would not have interpreted that page in such a way. It seemed obvious to me that Ana left to avoid Drew. I just saw Maria reacting to that, and doing her new friend a favour rather than her personally making a judgement against Drew.

Not that that would really change anything with regards to what you were saying... :-)

Drew is too stupid for Ky. Lose him.
Lex-Kat 11th Jul 2017, 2:21 AM edit delete reply
Woah! There's editing choices now.

Anyway, I think Drew and Ky are cute together, for the moment. I love Ky's sassiness, Jocelyn. `tis uber-cute.
