In case there was still any confusion (as of the end of Chapter 32) about who is going to prom with who (as I've noticed comments to that nature since the day prom was first brought up in canon), I decided to make a little chart depicting all the major characters and who they'll be with (or not with).
And remember: anyone in blue circles on the chart (the senior students who have uniforms with blue collars) can attend prom by themselves if they want. Everyone else (underclassmen and students from other schools) would need to be brought by a senior as a date.

Anyway, because there have been a lot of questions lately, I wanted to make this chart so I can simply refer people here if need be. Even if not, prom is still a ways away, and there's plenty of time to forget. Of course, if there are any further questions this doesn't answer, by all means, feel free to ask.
So the terrifying future where Debbie and Todd join forces in darkness to thwart the sun and cast all in everlasting shadow is still a possibility? or did I miss the part where even debbie's standards aren't that low?
Given that prom King and Queen are going to be decided by audience vote, and Rain's name isn't selectable as "King" I don't think that's going to be an issue.
I also tend to think not even Debbie would take Todd to Prom, so the likelihood of him being there is low.

Rain's name is TOTALLY selectable as King at this point, technically speaking. I mean, she's on the invite as "Ryan," with a female partner... It probably wouldn't be impossible on sheer by-the-letter eligibility, even if there's no way in heck it'll actually happen (and indeed, everybody else would probably laugh at the typo and make lesbian jokes about there being two queens more likely than suspecting anything).
In universe maybe but unless Jocelyn has revised the survey it's not actually an option in the actual voting. (I can't actually check that as I already voted so I can no longer access the survey)
My junior year prom (our school is so small that their isn't an option to have just a senior prom or they wouldn't be able to afford it, so it is for both juniors and seniors), same-sex couples weren't allowed, but trans people could go as how they wanted as long as the teacher who gave out the tickets knew because she could defend for the stance to our principal. My senior year prom, I didn't go, but everyone was allowed to take whoever they wanted as long as the correct papers were filled out (kid going to another school, underclassman going, we have our prom at a military base so it's important). I find it funny because the principal tries to get lgbt+ issues out of our school, but they're so far in there that he can't stop them and the teachers who are helping are beginning to overpower him.
That's amazing :D My prom was decent, but barely any of the queer kids went to it because of it being so cishet. I could go as a girl, but the school prom was just ... meh. Our anti-Prom the year before was Way superior. Minus trying to do laser tag in a skirt ;)
There is nothing stopping Todd from turning up at the prom anyway you know. Say he slipped past the teachers or whatever at the front door .Or overhears someone say Ryan and Rain acknoledges it.... Anything could happen.
Randy, there’s no need to ‘muster your courage’! Just ask anyone and they’ll say yes, cuz man, you’re the best.
And now, for no reason at all, I ship Randy with Rudy lol.
Also, odds that Brett is actually transmasculine (not transmale, though)?
When Todd asks Debbie to prom I'm hoping Debbie sees him as the little shit he is and sends him packing.
That said, I'm almost wish we actually got to see him asking Holly out, That sounded rather entertaining.

She's on this page, but she's not a named character.

Granted, the 'horrible results' part is a risky toss-up, but I guarantee that it's going to be messy.
