“This is a very focused chapter. About 85% of it revolves pretty directly around Rain and/or Gavin.”
You know, except this first part that starts with Maria and Rudy. You won’t be seeing a lot of them this chapter, so I thought it’d be fun to at least let them open it up.

In the sixth panel, Maria speaks in italics (much like how Rain does just about all the time). Since the italics are meant to depict “not their natural voice”, it really just means Maria’s talking kinda weird here. I imagine an exaggerated “wannabe Shakespearian” kind of voice… if that makes any sense at all.

Rain, all characters and all other aspects of the story are copyright material belonging to me.

I like your art style, it's very expressive yet not overly complex like other anime I've seen. Keep up the awesome work!

I love Maria's expressions in the last two panels.

Man, with my laptop out of action I've missed so much!
Catching up was fun though, I got loads of awesome pages at once ^^

Oh no!! A chapter with very little Maria? How will this comic ever survive!

Oh, I just assumed that italics would mean a higher than normal voice, bold would mean a lower than normal voice, underline would mean a more emphatic voice, and all caps would be louder. (Not demonstrating that one as I do not want to yell at you.)

But that's probably just me.

Am I the only one that thinks that Rudy looks like Sugino from Assassination Classroom?

Haha, I'm actually a little jealous: I never had such a fun, lighthearted and silly dynamic with any of my siblings growing up.
