And now Rain is on the same page as many readers: "It fits that Ana definitely could be trans, but what's really the likelihood of that?" Let's even throw in a "There's no possible way for there to be this many trans people in one place" for good measure. ;P
Since I'm unable to specify one way or the other at this time, let me direct focus to the flashback scene between Rain and Jessica. This IS a flashback, but it's completely new content that we haven't seen before. When Jess first started staying with them, Rain was excitedly thinking up questions to ask her, but no such scene was ever depicted. So we can probably assume this exchange happened somewhere between Chapters 15 and 16. Not that the timing is really that important, but I figured I'd clarify before letting you folks go crazy trying to figure out when that happened.
As you may know by now, my upcoming SRS date is less than a month away (assuming nothing falls through). I'm nervous beyond words, either way. Whatever happens, I'm just trying not to have my brain explode from stress, pressure, and nerves. Your help would be, as always, very welcome right now.

Haha, I really remember me being in high school. When i finally came out to my best friend, she told me that there actually is a FtM a grade above us that she knew. So whe got to know each other and actually became very close friends. And he them told me, that there was another FtM ~4 years above us (not on school any more). So I met him then too. Like. In a school with 1000 teens, 3 TS already. I was really confused and thought it should be much much less. What are the odds...
Oh yeah. And I get some weired nostalgia feeling about that doughnut. I had one too, and still needed it when I went back to school after summer "holidays" in thailand, haha. Noone asked me then about that, but I guess everyone knew..
My high school has a total of 184 kids and there's about of 8 transgender students attending that I know of, including myself. Transgender does not only include binary genders, and it isn't just about being AMAB but identifying as a female or vice versa. It's anyone who doesn't identify SOLELY as the gender they were assigned at birth, or not identifying with any gender, etc.
Unfortunately, I think Rain won't ask Ana about what's up with her because Rain wouldn't want to press someone into coming out. Unless Ana decides to pull a Maria and announce her situation to the whole school, I don't know how this impasse will be overcome

Hmmmm :). Actually that happened. During my transition I discovered that I wasn't not only one in my high school class. However we didn't know about each other during school years. But when I started transitioning many years later, she told me about herself. She even visited the same therapist. Really crazy coincidences.
And damnit Rain, stop thinking out loud.

I'm part surprised Rain hasn't at least figured out Ana's intention with the last question... but I so so so look forward to their talk.
But some of the pieces fall into place
Plus Lemon's older sister is also ace.
STATISTICS WHAT'RE THOSE
Careful there. If Rudy figures out that they're all inside an LGBT story, his powers of insight and fourth-wall breaking will become unmanageable.
Yeah, I know that feeling ^^;
