I feel like panel 6 is unintentionally the best description of not just the story, not just high school, but life in general I've ever made. It's both funny and sad like that. XD
While a lot is said here, I'm not sure what else to add. I really like this page though. It feels so natural, and the interactions between these two (no matter what they're discussing) is somehow always cute to me.
As you may probably know by now, I'm saving up for my (hopefully) upcoming SRS date in a few months. If you're able, you can help me out. Buying books, or shirts, or just plain donations are all very helpful right now. Obviously, if you are unable to or don't want to offer anything monetary, that's totally fine and I completely understand. There are other ways you can help. Like voting for Rain on TopWebComics or joining/sharing the Facebook page (or even just telling your friends!) can help spread the word about my work. Thanks for anything you can do; no hard feelings if you can't. ^_^
I can't believe i caught up! Also, i'm kinda new here (literally "kinda")
My old friends recommended me this comic.
Not to say they aren't my friends anymore but my parents are super religious and don't allow me to use social media because of the "risks" it involves. So i never get to talk to them anymore.
They recommended this webcomic to me a long time ago, i read like 30 pages and i first i thought it was bad because i never read the extra text (when i first read it, seeing things like rudy call rain a tranny and misgendering her really turned me away from the comic, i didn't realize that things would get much much better)
But now that i've given it it's second chance i absolutely love it. I wish i could talk with my friends about it since they wanted me to read it so badly, but for now im pretty much alone. Stuck with my religious family, mostly hiding in the closet...
i look forward to coming updates!
this and a few other comics have been just about the only thing keeping me sane around my family.
First off, welcome to the Somewhat Sacred Order of Rainbeaus! As a new-ish member myself, it is my privilege to offer you a complimentary fruit basket and a few scented candles. We're glad to have you.
As far as the super-religious family goes, I don't envy you. May I recommend NaNoWriMo? It's not social media, but it's a good sanity booster. NaNoWriMo stands for National Novel Writing Month. Participants try to write 50,000 words of a novel in 30 days. It's a lot of fun, and there's a vibrant and diverse community in the forums, including several friendly LGBT+ groups. It might be a good place for you to connect with some people, and the writing itself is a ton of fun.
Sorry to hear about the restrictive family. On the plus side, if you stick around here, I'm proud to say that Rain's readership is very tight and we're all pretty supportive of each other (we are our own family). ^_^
Fantastic news! (Its me btw, i figured i'd shorten it to just Rosey cause yikes RoseyHollySolly is too many syllables.)
Funny how i just mentioned how i can't use social media, but now i found a way to safely use it in secret! I hate to go against my word to my parents, but its not my fault theyre overprotective and unfair. I got to talk with my friends again for the first time in about 3 weeks!
Not only that, i got a fortune cookie that said "good opportunities will come your way soon"
Thus did the devil find another soul. Except in this case the devil is an adorable bunny named Puddle, and your soul isn't really going anywhere unpleasant.
Welcome to Rain! It's almost magical, but not totally because Magical is another thing. It's good to have a new addition to the family.
Well for someone of your station, if you're willing to branch out just a little, I happened to stumble upon a forum named Empty Closets, perhaps you might check it out?
So, I just caught up after engulfing the entire comic in about a day or so. This is a good comic, it definitely falls in my Subscriptions folder! Thanks for making it!
you aren´t wrong though
WHY AND HOOOOOW
My grandmother's advice still rings true: Ignore them and they'll get tired and move on to something else.
The last panel is also a possibility: that "something else" might still be about you...
...
Eww, who am I fooling?

This comic is good fortune, i swear!

Good to have you among us, new faces are always a plus.
... I was thinkin of portable firefox on a USB drive and/or some proxy magic but that's a far more less techy solution! :)
And anyway there's still good ol' email for communication besides social media :)
Thank you all!
