Second time in a row I'm posting late-ish for me (but still technically on time). Sorry for these delays. I'm both really sick right now, and am adjusting to some new anti-depression meds, so I'm a little bit of a mess at the moment. With any luck, things will balance out for me before long so my posting stops being so wonky and erratic. Thank you for your patience, all the same though. ^_^
ANYwho, after catching up with Fara and Vincent last time, we check back in with Heather and Jessica this time (you can probably expect a little more jumping around in the future too). Unfortunately, I don't know what else to write here that won't spoil something, so please, by all means share your thoughts on all this.
Picking up from http://rain.thecomicseries.com/comics/794
Jocelyn, navigation back would be easier if there were navigation buttons on top of the comic as well as underneath, so one didn't have to scroll down just to get to 'back'.
@Devigrl Neko: Actually, that comes from the layout rather than just ComicFury. This is one of the default layouts, but I've seen others with the buttons on top, too.
Out of curiosity I took a look at the HTML, and the drop-down menu listing the pages is MASSIVE. Not sure how that particular element works, since I'm only a beginner with this stuff. But I think it'd be pretty simple to edit it so that there would also be back and forward buttons at the top, it's pretty much just copy and paste.
Honestly, all I have to say to this is that I hope Jessica isn't being rash. I actually haven't decided if I think Jocelynn is the type of writer to have a character blow off a concussion only for it to bite them later. And since Jessica exists entirely at the writer's whim, it probably would've been better to try and remove herself from sources of drama...
Man, referring to a character making their own decisions while also referring to them and their world as under the whims of the artist feels both really meta and really sad. It's like watching a Sim burn in a fire because the player turned Free Will mode off.
This is irrelevant to this page, but I love this story so so so so much!!! I LOVE CHANEL SO MUCH! I love MarNel too! Basically, anything with Chanel I love. I want more of her! I want more of this entire story! I love it so much! Keep up the great work!
P.S. My friends who read this story are gonna see this comment and know it was me who posted it since they know I love Chanel so much.
I once had someone hit me on the head with part of an engine block, after I came to I didn't feel any pain, but I had a concussion bad enough that later that night I had to be taken to the hospital. Moral of the story, never brush off head injuries.... and don't trust people to look before they use a swinging lift in autoshop class.
@Jocelyn, has it been mentioned in canon what either of Rain's siblings do for a living? On their way to becoming doctors and lawyers respectively just like Rain's on her way to becoming a mommy?

Though Aiken WILL notice it if he runs into Jessica. I think this is what Jocelyn is planning, actually. ~
