Oh, Rain's having a great time. Nothing like being a trans girl dreaming you're a cis girl with a really cute outfit (and uh, wings). ^_^

Not a whole lot to say about this one. It's mostly just a setup to go into the rest of the chapter. I purposely gave them a rather straightforward "fetch-questy" kind of adventure, because I could and would go too all out with something grand and epic... but Rain kinda needs to wake up at some point to get on with the rest of the story, you know? So, a short "we-just-need-to-kill-time-until-the-bridge-to-the-next-town-is-repaired" quest is in order. XD

Some of you probably have no idea what I'm talking about. Sorry for that. ^^;

The term, "Blood Kites" for the bandit gang though, is a reference to an old story collaboration with a friend of mine. We were using it as the name of a bandit gang in our fantasy webcomic called L.A.W. that sadly never got off the ground. Oh well. It lives on in a new bandit gang in another webcomic absolutely nothing like it.

I'd like to do cis girl dreams more often... Or maybe I just don't notice? But I sometimes dream I'm transitioning, and that's already awesome. ^^

Wonder who are the Blood Kites... But I definitely see Father Quenton as their leader. Even if it's a dream, he's still the One True Evil wearing the One True Evil Wig.

A yes nothing brings an open world rpg grinding to a halt like the good old bridge is out (aka you can't be here till you do something else first) sign... although most rpg games don't do this anymore but nothing beats the classics

i just had a dream i was a cis girl. although i was left at the prom. rain's dream seem like it will be a lot more fun than that

it'd be great to have a dream of being a cis girl or transitioning. for now though i'm stuck with those weird dreams where it seems more like i'm watching than anything even when i'm me

Okay I'm just guessing based on their outfits (which all look freaking awesome), but Gavin looks like the fighter, Rudy the mage, but what is Maria? Is she like the theif or the archer?

brother arthur reminds me of reiichi himuro from tokimeki memorial girl's side, but with sakuya morimura's (from the same game) haircut
