Originally, I was going to switch scenes today and shift focus to one of the other arcs going on at this time. I changed my mind, partially because I wanted to close the week with something relevant, instead of starting something new going into the weekend. I also kinda felt like I should confirm the characters splitting up to do different things before I jumped away. Soooo, NEXT update, we'll catch up with someone else.

But while we're here, let's talk about the content here. We've had a lot of focus on Rain's drama and the questions of whether her siblings will accept her or not. And while Emily has taken the foreground a lot on this matter by defending Rain or arguing with Kellen, her own personal drama hasn't been touched on in a while.

Do YOU think anyone from the school is there? Do you think she'd continue to deny it, or does it sound like she might try to come clean?

I guess she should come clean when she isn't able to hide it anymore, in order to postpone the school's reaction the most possible.

I think it's cute how Rain and Emily are at a point where Rain can tell what Emily's worried about without her having to explain. Raimily sails on!

I haven't put too much thought into how the school will receive the news of Emily's pregnancy. It's still a super-conservative school, so it probably won't go very well...

Well just when the drama starts to die down just a little we get blammed with even more! I'm just hoping its not gonna be as bad as being pregnant in high school usually is with all the slut/whore jokes being cracked. *sigh* this world is a cruel one

Since the revelation of Emily's pregnancy I keep on wondering how the school rules would come into play regarding it and it will be interesting to see that come to a head once this arc is over

Typical Catholic school rules for pregnant students: since they're keeping the baby, they're not the worst people ever, so they're welcome to remain students in the school. However, as obvious fornicators, they are no longer eligible for a number of perqs that someone like Emily would've surely gotten. She might not be allowed to go to school dances, and will certainly not be eligible to be the prom queen. I haven't gone to Catholic school, so I don't know more details than that.

Ok,This has nothing to do with the page,even though I LOVE it. But like the title says,off topic.
Would you happen to know that page where it has the pictures of Ky(lie) explaining her/his gender? Like where it has the pictures of her in a dress,sweater,t-shirt,etc?

I have a related question. What are Ky(lie)'s pronouns?? Like, does it depend on the day? I've just been using they/them/theirs pronouns in my head; would Ky(lie) prefer that? Or is using he or she better?

@Shelby

Ky is quite lax and has never stated a preference, so I leave this up to individual discretion. What I tend to do is use female pronouns when she presents female, and male pronouns when he presents male. In other words, I use whatever wouldn't out her if I were there with her. Singular they is also acceptable. Some readers also refer to Ky with gender neutral pronouns like zhe or xe. Whatever works best for you.

@All:

So, I saw an oncologist yesterday, and to keep things short because I really don't want to talk about it: more surgery is in my future (I'll go over full details another day). I don't have a date yet, but I will let you know as soon as I do.

Take care, everyone.

And if you want to say something about it, encouragement and positive posts are much preferred to doom and gloom, if you please. Thanks. I appreciate it. :)

Rain's face on panels 5 and 6 totally reminded me of her saying "I want to be a mommy" in the very beginning of the story.

The question, I suppose, is whether this comic is Chekov's Gun or a Lampshade?
