And with that, the Dumpface Chase arc is pushed back to another chapter. XD You know something's going to happen with that eventually, but there is SO MUCH to cover in this chapter, that Chase and Emily just can't talk yet. Maybe I didn't need to address that in canon, but oh well. I hope you like the page regardless.
Well she might accidentally answer if shes hurrying and doesn't recognize the number quick enough... plus wouldn't you want to diss your horrid ex using a picture like that?
If I suspect I'm going to get lots of calls from someone I don't want to hear from consistently using the same number, I do the same thing (I do it all the time for all manner of solicitors, actually). This way, I can just decline the call without having to remember whether that was important number. As such, she re-added him with an embarrassing name just so she can keep track of how much he's harassing her.
I am SO using this for the damned "Massachusetts Health Connector." They've called every two days to "remind me" that I need to sign up for their damned insurance, even though I'm already insured.
Depending on your phone, you may even be able to set custom ringer: none, vibration: none for your dumpface contact entry, too. Then your phone can work fine except for the fact that people can't reach you while your phone is not making any noise because dumpface is calling.
I would like to suggest that she changes that photo to a picture of chase and a photo-shopped butt above him to truly display the essence of "Dumpface" later on in the comic
Well I found this comic yesterday and read all the way through. This is especially meaningful to me. I am glad to see that in this comics world people feel accepted and happy with their identities. Too bad not everything works out in real life. At my school on December 28th, a student, Leelah Alcorn, committed suicide. She identified as transgender and was struggling with finding friends. She was in my class and I talked to her before, but I can't help but feel guilty that I didn't befriend her, because if I did things might have been different. I didn't even know she was trans and struggling until the school announced it three days ago after her death. Well anyway, thank you for bringing this comic so far, and I really look forward to more pages in the future.
Eh I'm not exactly feeling great about that decision by Leelah I mean seriously why are you going to make someone else live with the fact they killed you for the rest of their life?
It's not about punishing others, it's about ending their own pain or feeling unworthy to be alive. I suffer from clinical depression, and I know what is like to lose all hope.
And thanks for this webcomic, Jocelyn. Having many LGBT friends and being asexual myself, I've learned to understand them a bit better. This is a breath of fresh air in this world full of intolerance.

That makes a lot of sense actually... I might use that technique now. Thanks for clearifying
This is an awesome life-hack.
... but then I'm also not a guy. *shrug*
I never heared of it. Well i never heared of people called Aiken either, but that's actually a cool name.
