Don't worry too much about what Rudy and Kylie are saying though. Drew and Randy are actually a fair distance away and in the mall (with probably some obnoxious Muzak playing in the background), so they probably didn't hear anything.
This could be the moment a lot of people have been waiting for for a very long time. Should be interesting.

I wasn't. In fact, the whole month I've been waiting for the Rain/Emily story resolution.
A meeting between Drew/Kylie has been building up since like Chapter 7 though. Some people have been waiting for this for quite some time. ;P
However, I understand your frustration.
Just because there are a few people that have been getting on my case about this (and it's only gonna get worse if I don't address it), I've decided I want to make a public apology to you and anyone else with the same concern: sincerely, I am actually sorry for the wait for the Rain/Emily arc you're eagerly awaiting closure on. As much as I love to tease my readers, dragging this out the way it's been going, is kind of unintentional.
I may have mentioned in the past that I am about 5+ chapters beyond this one in the script. So having some forethought in what's to come, I actually kept returning here and adding more scenes to this one to foreshadow some things (hence why this chapter ended up being a million pages long). There's nothing inherently wrong with the sheer number of scenes here, but each addition kinda screwed up my scene order, to be honest (the burden of a serial comic; once it's out, you kinda can't take it back). And the Rain/Emily arc was always meant to be the closer for this chapter, so after that last cliffhanger scene with them, that meant EVERYTHING ELSE had to wrap up first. Initially, there were far fewer scenes though, so the wait wasn't quite as agonizing.
When it comes time to compile this all into Volume 3, I'll almost definitely shuffle the order of scenes a bit for a better flow. XD
Until then, I am truly sorry for the inconvenience, but thank you for your patience. The Rain/Emily arc I know you're waiting for is coming up in less than two weeks. Just a couple more things to address.
In fact, I prefer the intermingling of all the different stories to if you just jumped straight into the Rain/Emily arc. It adds way more dimension and suspense.
The character that is nice and you always want to see more of, but you know the writer won't have them as anything more than a background character.
