And finally, we catch up with Jessica. As has been mentioned a couple times in passing earlier in the chapter, she's spending the evening working at the cafe.
Mr. [Hector] Colm is a cameo appearance from one of my other stories, Impure. I don't have a lot of notable older gentleman characters in my works (writing younger people always just feels more natural to me) so when I decided to include such a person in the story here, Hector was basically much a shoe-in. XD
That's Ky's big sis Heather in the background, by the way.
Also, I've said this before, but I'm trying to raise money for SRS, and I'm still struggling with it. If you can help, it would be most welcome. If not, don’t worry about it. I totally understand (you don't need to feel bad or apologize if you can’t).
As per usual, more characters means more changes to the chapter cover!
Other series. You have other series. I MUST FIND THESE OTHER SERIES. Your too good of a writer for me to ignore the fact that this is a cameo from your OTHER series.
I'm delighted to hear you're interested. I'm more than happy to redirect you to few of my other stories if you like. Do just keep in mind that most of them are quite different from Rain (they're mostly fantasy). Also, all of them are unfinished. As a writer, I get a lot of ideas for stories and characters I like, but Rain is the farthest I've gotten with any one of them so far.
Lavender Town is a simplistic love story between two high school girls, written in novel format. There are only nine chapters so far. I do plan on going back to this, but I'm not sure when.
Magical is a "magical girl" story, but where the entire group of heroes are transgender girls and boys. This is fairly new still, with only a prologue existing (and a canon cameo from the main character appears in Rain).
Shangri-La is actually a game being made with RPG Maker. While it still features a number of LGBT characters (all of my works do), it's not a prominent theme. There is a lengthy but dated demo available.
Impure is a fantasy epic. Nothing currently exists of it, other than some character bios and a handful of non-canon cameos in Rain.
And my most recent story idea is this. Very little exists of it (it doesn't even have a true title yet), but I like the idea a lot so I'd definitely like to come back to it.

And so much more... ^_^
THIS!
I was sure it was, but not 100%. I had wondered why Jessica hadn't noticed her there, which is where the 2% uncertainty came from.
