In case you hadn't gotten the memo yet, Rain - Volume 2 is FINALLY available for purchase! For those of you who have already bought and enjoyed the book, it'd help me a great deal if you'd rated, reviewed and/or shared (if you don't mind).
I wonder who Maria's previous real relationship was with... it isn't clear, but it seems that it was not with Emily as I had been thinking... so whom could it be...
I kind of relate to Rain here. When I broke up with my boyfriend we stayed friends and I moved on instantly, but I think he took it way harder than I did. He never really let it show though... And I don't mean that in a good way. He never really showed emotion other than sarcasm and annoyance during that last year of school... So hard to get him to smile and joke like he used to...
I'm probably the worst person to be asking about when's a good time to get over a breakup, as I haven't successfully broken up once. My current relationship has been off and on for about five years. Each time me and my girlfriend have broken up we both feel bad enough about it to get back together soon after. Even though I decided to commit a year ago I have a feeling we might have to break up for good once something comes up :( Mostly due to the whole gender change thing, sorry to say...
I'm sorry, but I can't stand Rain here. She's too concerned about justifying her actions as "normal" and "acceptable" to realize that she needs to apologize to Rudy for upsetting him. Maybe I'd feel better if we had actually seen the interaction between Rain and Rudy after their conversation with Drew, but as it stands, I'm left with a bad taste in my mouth.
Rain is an extremely apologetic person. But she can also be pretty oblivious. And while I'm not try to turn around the blame onto Rudy, he's not exactly sharing a lot of his feelings on the matter. He bottles it all up, and when she says something "wrong", he walks away rather than communicating.
Your previous page was a setup for this page. You're not Ayame Yakuzumi, where you page exists seperately on its own or even Order of the Stick, which per rule has 1 gag punch or lean on every page and progressive arc. As you've probably gathered by now, your melodrama needs time in order to strengthen and your humor escalates. It's great that you thought of us in the comments though.
1. I was and wasn't surprised
2. Chapter B raises some new questions
@Jocelyn
Is there any way I can send a question to you that doesn't show up on here (I am trying to avoid giving any spoilers)

You can be sure that if she knew, she would. But she can't apologize for something when she doesn't even really know how deeply Rudy was upset.
