Speaking as a bit of an overthinker myself, I can relate to Gavin here. The best thing that boy could do for himself is just NOT dwell on the things Ana said... but when you have a tendencey to stress out over dumb, irrelevant things (like this) as is, not dwelling is easier said than done.
As for "girl riddles", I don't think that's a thing. We're just looking at a guy who fails to comprehend women's behavior (in that it might seem like a riddle to him). XD Try not to think too hard about it.
In case you hadn't gotten the memo yet, Rain - Volume 2 is FINALLY available for purchase! It covers Chapters 7 through 14 (plus an exclusive bonus chapter), and features much higher quality. So check it out if you can. ^_^
Anything that isn't an out right yes, is a no, as in "She is not interested in you, move on to the next person".
Keeping things simple causes so much less aggravation. This was a lesson I learned the hard way. You are better off not wasting time with someone who makes it hard to date her, purposely.
I think it's more like a, "Don't hold your breath, stop pestering me, but maybe."
That said, chances will be kind of slim, as chances are good, you're not the only one who's swarming for a date. Look at it on the bright side, your odds are likely better than the sperm that fertilized the egg to make you had been. So it *could* happen. But letting the person know you're anxiously waiting for the answer would reduce your chances. Also, random to you other factors could take you out of the running without you getting any notice about it. (I knew a girl who used that line on someone. Said someone later on made a homophobic slur in the girl's presence. That girl's brother was gay. Said someone wasn't ever told why he never got to date her.)
The whole "No is kind of as maybe" line of thing is kind of what gets guys into trouble and basically wastes his time when he could be with someone else.
While I completely agree with this, she never outright said yes or no, she's keeping a maybe. She has things to overcome first before she can truly decide. It's a no, but possibly a no, for now.
It's so "obvious" where this is leading, I'm giddy with anticipation of the "Hah, I bet you thought this was leading to something else, weren't you?" twist!
Hmm I just thought of somthing I don't think were going to find out what anna needed to do before dating gavin antill much further down the line, that is I've just thought of somthing and its might be one of those things that you just rarther people don't at all. Somthing much more mundain then I was origionally axspecting
Ps yay emily "I actually feel happy for seeing her here" stange
First off, Love the comic, just have some website requests. Would it be possible to have the content on http://rain.thecomicseries.com/comics/ be the same as rain.thecomicseries.com .
The difference is on the main page you have the first comic, last comic navigation at the top, and /comics/ page you have navigation "first, previous, next, latest" at the bottom. If you could have the First/previous combos on the top and bottom of both pages, that would make it much easier to navigate when a visitor comes back, and doesn't know how many updates there have been.
Otherwise I love the series, love how its all woven together, focusing on many different characters and backgrounds. Don't change up your formula for the comic itself!
Most men do get the hidden meanings and all that "riddle me this, boyfriend/husband," we just play stupid. We hold words at face value for the most part, ergo "I'm fine," means what it is, whether we know it actuallymeans "I'm pissed," or not. Unless I'm the only one chooses not to read between the lines, as sayinh one thing and meaning another appears to me as some sort of anyiconfrentational insecurity. Simply put, I don't gode anyone in to revealing how they really feel, even if I actually know, because I can read people.
