"When the quiet one talks, you shut up and listen." This is a common half-joke in my friend group for whenever I actually speak up and add to a conversation (I'm the shy one). They say I "don't say much, but when I do, it's either very wise or very funny." I'm pretty proud of that, actually. o///o
Anyway, it's kinda fitting for Rain here too. Normally, she wouldn't get involved in this kind of conversation (especially with someone she's little more than an acquaintance with). But here she is chiming in when Rudy's ready to dismiss him. Where is this even coming from?
In case you hadn't gotten the memo yet, Rain - Volume 2 is FINALLY available for purchase! It covers Chapters 7 through 14 (plus an exclusive bonus chapter), and features much higher quality (no more fuzzy text). So check it out if you can. ^_^
Ooh! I wonder what she has to say! Because I certainly don't get it. :P Though I /do/ get what what-his-face is coming from (I can't remember his name.... Oops!) since it happened to me within the last few years, haha.
I am going on a limb and assuming Rain is going to suggest he is bi! I was in a similar situation as Drew when I went into middle school, I liked girls but when I met my best guy friend I did start noticing guys more until I stopped finding girls attractive all together. Meeting him made me realize I was gay.So I'm going to assume Drew is simply bisexual.
Funny story... I was exactly in Drew's position about six years ago. I grew up firmly convinced I was completely straight. Made it all the way to 26 years old... then ONE person, one guy, opened my eyes. Made me sit up and notice. Brought to the realization that... yeah, I find both men and women attractive.
Now I identify as bi. (Two years after that, I realized I was trans, too, another realization caused by the same guy.)
I think, that after seing ky, this guys has come to realise that the kinds of things he's attracted to exist within both male and femal people, and it took a femaale he thought was male for him to see things he wasn't looking at before. Such as the things he liked about people existing in. Males aswell as females. Would I say he is bi? No I think he doesn't know, I think he might find a prefference were bofore he didn't think he had a choice.
I'd be like that too, if I articulated clearly and didn't stutter and ramble. I raise good/funny points, but their delivery is unrefined thanks to lack of practice.

I know exactly how that feels! Especially in a working context sometimes the group suddenly goes all silent and looks at me if I can add something useful and they are even more content, if not because that means they've already thought about most of the important stuff 😅
