"We'll give them what they want and play along." "Smooch!" Uh... ahem. You know; starting now, that is. XD
After a couple bummer pages, that second one here fills me with copious amounts of happy. Was it risky, even if they made sure no one looking? Of course. Was it worth it? Always! ^_^
Also, I've said this before, but I'm trying to raise money for SRS, and I'm still struggling with it. If you can help, it would be most welcome. If not, don’t worry about it. I totally understand (you don't need to feel bad or apologize if you can’t).
Sometimes it pays to stick to the rules of the house. While I find Mr Strongwell to be utterly despicable, the consequences are far to dire to tempt him.
Armed with the knowledge she has now, if I were her I'd go to the police for my own protection. Father or not, he's planning on subjecting his children to abuse and that's bad by anyone's standards.
This 248-page book continues the story where Volume 1 left off, beginning with Chapter 7 and closing with Chapter 14. In addition, it contains all Rain Delay gag comics associated with those chapters (including Guest Rain Delays), lots of original art, and even fan art! Finally, it features an exclusive bonus chapter that won't be seen online, "Chapter B: A Rose by Any Other Name", which revolves around events from Maria's past.
And for concerned parties who own Volume 1 and had trouble with fuzzy text, that issue is resolved. Everything in Volume 2 is much clearer and crisper. It's definitely more easy on the eyes (especially since you can watch my art improve over the course of the book).
Also, Volume 2 IS slightly more expensive than Volume 1. I didn't really want to do it, but in return, you do get a thicker book with more content and higher quality, so I'm hoping it kinda balances out.
Anyway, that's all out of me. Have a lovely day everyone, and enjoy the book if you buy it! <3
I wish I could by the books, but I don't know how my family would react. I'm not out as far as being agender, but I am out to some family and all of my friends as bi. I think I had a little bit of difficulty coming out to my sister, so I don't know how they feel about my sexuality. I know I shouldn care, but I'm only 14 and I'm not ready to do anything hasty in my family relationships. I just don't know how they would feel ordering an lgbt book online. I'm not even out to my dad, and it would be SO much better if the books were in stores. Then I could at least buy it and they couldn't do anything. They probably wouldn't even ask about it. Maybe one day when I can finally move out and/or come out completely.
By the way, good luck with the SRS. A while back, I hadn't even realized that you were still in transition. You look great, and if I didn't know you I would view you as a woman immediately. Not that you're anything other than that, of course. Same as my firstcomment, I would donate if I could. Your comic has done so much for me. It has educated me not only on the world, but on myself. Rain has played a big part in helping me figure out who I am. Thank you so much and good luck!
Also, I just noticed your new picture and you look awesome!
