First off, sorry. I know you all hate me right now for switching scenes when I did. We'll catch up with Rain soon, I promise. ^^;
This is possibly a really obnoxious couple of pages. I was feeling experimental, and a lot of dialogue needed to be presented. In addition, I can't remember if I've already said this, but my wife has criticized me saying the most unbelievable aspect of this story is that there are all these teenagers and texting rarely happens. XD
I'm still not going to write in text speak though. I don't care if it's more realistic. Proper spelling and complete sentences in texts for the win (plus emoticons). XD
Also, don't forget to check out my interview with Claire Parker, alongside Closetspace's Jenn Dolari (now available at your own leisure) if you missed it!

Also also, with Winter [finally] coming to a close, the RainComicStore on Etsy is taking a hiatus from selling scarves. However, my wife has taken up a new craft: beading. And she's using that talent to make magnets and pins in a variety of forms. Do check it out. ^_^

Nooo! Gavin deserves a nice ladyfriend who isn't a lesbian using him as a cover xD.
Really though, I think Rain/Emily, Ana/Gavin, Chanel/Maria, and Ky/Rudi because at this point I don't even know what sexuality those two count as, if one is even applicable :P.
Fara needs a nice ladyfriend too. I'm willing to admit that lesbians make everything more adorable to me, because I is one.
Considering I always text with proper grammar, never use text speak, use proper punctuation, and use the correct homophones(its, it's; your, you're; etc.), this didn't seem out of place to me at all.
I agree about the full scentences and punctuation -- you don't try to transcribe accents, so why should you transcribe the accent-equivalents that come from texting?
Personally, and this has been a thing since I first got a cell phone and could text, I hate text speech. I refuse to text back to anyone (Even my baby sister) if they use it. Which forces them to text me twice when they forget. But, show me how smart you are by giving me full sentences and words. And most of my friends are this way. So...it's not too unrealistic that these guys would be the same. They seem like a smart bunch of kids that wouldn't need to dumb themselves down in text. (No offense meant to anyone who does use text speech.)
Here is my prediction:
Ana is LGBT. I think she is trans, genderqueer, or intersex. I won't share all of my reasoning to keep from spoiling the story. However, I did notice that Jocelyn showed her walk into the womans bathroom. This may be a small detail, but it could also be very important. Also, she mentioned that kids picked on her a d she was even attacked by her boyfriend. This may be similar to Aiken, when he found out about Jessica(without the physical abuse). I noticed a few other things but I'm keeping to myself!
We don't have someone interesexed in the story yet (correct me if i'm mistaken), so at some point, someone is going to turn up! Must be! But it could be anything, really, there's so much to talk about :)

Also, get off my lawn. ^_^
