Rudy MIGHT just be taking the breakup harder than he himself realizes.
The big question here is: did Drew deserve that? Could it possibly help clear things up or put things into perspective for him? Or will this only serve to make things worse?
Also, I'm saving for SRS, and to be perfectly honest, I could use your help! If you can, great. If not, don’t worry about it. I totally understand (you don't need to feel bad or apologize if you can’t). Perhaps you could share this link around to help me out that way though. It’d mean a lot to me. :)

I don't think Drew deserved it in that way. I mean, yeah, he deserved a scolding for his close-minded comments, but he's just really confused. It doesn't help that the entire school is so close-minded about anything that's different; literally everyone tells him that it's an evil awful thing. Of course he wouldn't want to be gay after being taught it's basically the worst sin in the world.
While he DOES need a wake-up call, the last thing he needs is to be yelled at like that.
Honestly, I'm just glad someone finally told him. It is kind of sad that he didn't have a friend to tell him that he was probably never gay.
Also, poor Drew probably wouldn't have taken it seriously if it was just said casually. Although there were nicer words that could have been said, at least Drew can't ignore the subject.
However, he probably needed that, because his classmates are horrible people, and were pointing him somewhere ugly. With Rudy's comment, he might get back on track, possibly more on track than he was to start with. I say he wasn't worthy, because the only thing that really separated him from the classmates who were steering him down that path was that he was the one crushing on Ky. If someone else had, it seems like he would have been hurtful to the someone else.
drew deserved it. he was basically implying that being gay is bad (which it isn't!). but seriously, drew was seriously being rude. i'm glad he got told.
