Ooh. Can it be? Rain finally confronts Rudy about his prior actions.
Question: Did it matter at this point? The boy just explained to her not long ago about how much he cares about her. Do you think Rain is just opening a can of worms here, or is she right in that this NEEDED to be discussed?
YES. This DOES need to be discussed.
Rain needs the answer here and now. She is going through the steps of womanhood and soon. Rudy is gay and he knows Rain wants this transition to be who she wants physically. What's gonna happen when it's done? Will this relationship be long-term or not?
I, honestly, would like an answer from him here and now.
I think Rudy just messed up his words. He knew she was going to transition, he just wasn't expecting it to happen this soon so he's in shock at how sudden it is. Like... at first it was a thing that would happen eventually, a long way down the road but now all of the sudden it's right there and will happen soon. But if I were in Rain's position I would be more than a little upset too, so she totally has the right to demand an explanation from him.
Hmmm. It is something that needs to be discussed but Rain is going to end up hurting someone she cares a lot about by doing so. Rudy is not a bad person but I see a lot of heartache for both of them over the next few strips. :(
We all talk about a lot of things, but it is different when we make plans to do something.
