I remember when we wife and I first started going out, she said she knew I was a woman because I could do that “death glare”. You know the one. According to the last panel, so can Rain. XD
I wonder how Rudy will respond. I mean, he seems a bit concerned about just saying it, right here and now. Thoughts?
Also, in case you didn't see it, Rain and I did "Transgender Talk" with Times Union blog! Check it out!
Jocelyn, I just read the blog post and as short as it was, it really said a lot about the troubles of transgendered/transsexual people. As I read it, though, I realized something.
In a society where people try to act like someone they're not in order to "fit in" rather than outright being themselves, you didn't. You weren't just limited to proclaiming your sexuality or interests to the whole world, though. You literally had to change everything about your body in order to become your true self—and you did.
That's why you're so inspiring. You had to actually work to become you—the real you. You're the ultimate example of being yourself.
Unless she's implicitly asking you to out her in front of people who are likely not trustworthy. Then OMG no. Just saying.
I think Rudy has a good enough partial answer to be able to say something appropriate for the audience, but it's really not the right time and place to ask him that.
