Soooo… Heather’s deal, anyone? For pretty much the whole story, she’s been a bit of an enigma, but we’ve never come any closer to understanding her. Now we’re finally slowly learning something, except for the fact that we’re not. Whatever it is though, even Kylie is in the dark about it!
Thoughts? ^_^
(And thanks again, to everyone on the last page I may not have gotten around to individually thanking. You guys are the best.)
Still can't figure heather out, I'm thinking she is a much more complex person than I thought. On another note why the super early post (its 4:55pm in Mass)
Yowza. Who asks stuff like that off the bat? I know Jessica's just trying to find someone to relate to, but I didn't think she'd let her curiosity trump taboo.
I'm tempted to say abuse rendered her unable to have kids anymore, but that's probably a little TOO dark for Rain, even with a pregnant teenager and the description of Rain's dad. The only other reasons that come to mind are:
-botched abortion
-miscarriage gone horribly wrong
-born that way (and was dumped by a boyfriend or fiance for it after finding out)
-horrible accident (but she wouldn't really have to hide that from her sister)
...Actually, now that I think about it, it's probably a botched abortion or miscarriage from a teenage romance, especially since you've already passed the pregnancy barrier with Emily.
Well, there's always the possibility of it having been ovarian cancer that required they be removed. Not that likely in younger women, but still entirely possible.
Given the "right" answer, she'd be perfectly happy to answer why she wasn't fertile.
They say opposites attract, but if you're in a fringe group, and you know you're fringe, you learn that likes run into each other *far* too frequently to be statistically plausible. (Well, at least, before you factor in the bit that we're more likely to notice and choose to interact with those who seem like ourselves. But we don't tend to notice that kind of bias. I don't even see something that really looks like it on the Wikipedia bias page.)
And 4:56 in NY. XD
I was just kinda here, had nothing else going on at the moment, and was completely ready to post. So I thought, "Meh. Why not?" Early post it is. ^_^

Did I, though? Did I? ;)
