Moving along, we get an explanation for Rudy’s absence throughout much of this chapter, followed by some more self-depreca-…

Oh~! XD

If I may say so, the January Girl is like my new favorite character to draw. She’s kinda fun, on account of her being SO asymmetrical. If I may also say, it’ll be a huge relief when I can stop calling her “January Girl” and refer to her by her real name.

Rain, all characters and all other aspects of the story are copyright material belonging to me.

I like that the "January Girl" has two different colored eye's. It's called something...I just can't think of it right now. I can't wait to find out what her name is. Lastly Yea Awkward situations

Heterochromia iridium, it is.
I thought it was interesting too.

Rain looks... Pleasedunpleased to see her. So lets get a name for this January girl Tout de suite!

Let's call her "General Bluegreen."

Because she makes Rain "stand at attention."

<.< I'm a little bit evil.

Jan, April, Iris, Chromie and now General Bluegreen. These are all the names readers have suggested so far. It's dangerous not to reveal names of people right off. I swear, I don't think anyone's going to call her by her real name. XD

True heterochromia...... which means something very important that most people don’t even begin to think about or understand..... This new girl is a chimera! At conception she was aupposed to be a pair of fraternal twins but during her mother’s pregnancy, very early, like before they reached 128 cells each, possibly before they even attached to her mother’s uterine wall, they stuck together and merged into one embryo with two people inside!

While heterochromia definitely may result from chimerism, other things can result in it too. Like genetic mosaicism, which is a cool example of just how unpredictable genetics can be sometimes. Also some diseases and even treatments for diseases/conditions can cause it.

Chimerism has always seemed a beautiful concept to me. Not appearance-wise, though heterochromia certainly is pretty, but just the idea of two genetically distinct sets of of cells working in perfect symbiosis to produce a single combined person.
Am I weird? I think I'm weird.

Rain is an anime fan, so we can call them "Desu eyes", too.
