Please forgive all the scene jumping. There’s a lot to be covered. ^^;
Anyway, can I just say that back in high school (and, really, all school before and after that), I’ve always hated being forced to have partners or groups for anything. I was ALWAYS stuck with either people who didn’t feel like doing anything (making me pick up the slack for one or more other people), or people I didn’t get along with (making it hard to work with them even if they were responsible students). Just shoot me if it was a combination of the two. XD
So, what happens you force the shortest kid in school and the tallest kid in school to be “buddies”?
Last time I’m going to bug you guys with this, but thank you again to everyone who has made a donation to help out in my time of need. I’m not quite to my goal yet, but I’m getting close and I know this is going to be a huge help for me to work more efficiently for you. (But there’s still some rewards to hand out too.)

(Yes, necroposting, I know, but) I actually have the same theory. More specifially, I'd say trans, ace, and maybe autistic. Why?
* So am I
* I'm In This Picture And I Do Not Like It
(Seriously: incredibly shy and silent, hair is a mess, annoyed by noises, and freaking out about people supposedly being in love with you even though it's a prank (as in page 444), was Jocelyn spying on me?)
Huh. Looking at the real-life date this was posted -- it's just before a certain important date that would come to pass much later in the story. One of the few occasions on which Mr Broom, who we're meeting for the first time here I believe, would have a little more presence. (Though, to be fair -- so would nearly the entire cast. Or at least all the important ones.) Funny little coincidence.
Regardless of him, though -- it's funny to think about dates around this time irl, as they correspond to dates in-canon. I can't help wondering whether you were thinking about that at all at the time of writing and drawing these pages! I mean, you certainly had a full outline for the major story events. Did you have dates in mind? If nothing else, I'm certain the irony wasn't lost on you as the very school year this story takes place in came and went. I didn't even think of it until just now, but at some point, the real world calendar and the in-universe date must've crossed over. Since the first little while, you were writing in the future rather than the past. I wonder what day that was... I may go back and try to find it.
Anyway! Just musing. I love catching trivial things like this. 's just fun. ^^
@ Jocelyn have you decided on who chapter B is going to be about? If not I have a suggestion... Jessica I would love to learn more about her.
-Jamie
-seems sensitive about his height, possibly dysphoric
-would fill the "January Girl" plot hook
Gonna continue to observe. Just a hunch I have.
