This is a really interesting page, and I personally like it a lot. The images depict smiles on every face in every panel. And yet, Rain’s narration has this subtle hint of melancholy. I know I shouldn’t be patting myself on the back, but I really do love the dichotomy.
The second panel may require a little bit of explaining (not the reference; I’m hoping people just get that ^_^). But for those of you who might not remember, Rain lent her falsies to Rudy for the “Ruby scheme”. At the end of Chapter 12, she narrated that she’d never gotten them back at the end of the night. And for the keen eye, Rain was also unusually flat-chested throughout Chapter 13. Just… little things I did. (Also, I know tissues make awful bra inserts.)
The final panel marks the first time we’re seeing Rain’s braid since. I’ve been giving her pigtails so much lately, I forgot how much I loved the braid. Her newest purple/black party dress is strongly based on one I own, except the purple and black parts are switched.

Question: how hard was it for Rudy to hide the falsies? I imagine it was pretty easy, but still, if his parents were to find it... There is no way he could explain that away.
Also, I like the second-to-last panel a lot. Just awesome. How hard was it to cram everyone in?
I used to hide things I didn't want my parents to see in or underneath my dresser. You'd be surprised how well that works. Otherwise, he could have actually asked Maria to hold onto them. All things considered, I'm sure she'd be only too delighted to do so. ^_^
Also, I love that panel too. It was SO hard to cram everyone in. But I'm glad to hear you like it; it makes it all worth it to hear it's appreciated. ^_^
I don't think I ever tried tissues. Back when I used falsies, I followed a suggestion an other trans woman gave me: take a pair of pantyhose, cut off the feet, fill them with birdseed and tie them off.

After such a heavy chapter, I hope things go smooth for Rain and co back at school.
They worked very well.
