And today I will be continuing my pet project to come up with more better designs for the clothing of the main cast in Rain. To do so, I've been making character sheets that portray a variety of costumes for each character. I haven't posted one of these in almost two weeks. Sorry, I just had a lot going on. Regardless, today we'll be working with Chanel.

Chanel was another difficult character to work with. Whereas her body is clearly recognizable (as she is the shortest and curviest character in the whole story), I've made her clothing designs very casual so far (#1 and #2 have been seen in canon), so I felt like having them be different but follow this concept would be the most challenging.

Actually, there's a second handicap I had to work with. Chanel is very uncomfortable with her body. Her shapeliness has been trouble for her in the past, by giving her a lot of unwanted attention. So as you'll notice, she does not reveal a lot of skin in her assorted outfits. No lowcut shirts. No midriffs. Nothing openly revealing much of her legs.

The two outfits we haven't seen are a bit unique as well, but build on these. Although, casual by nature, #3 shows us that she's not against dressing nicely if she feels the occasion calls for it. You've seen her in a different fancy dress before in the story, but this shows less leg, so I'm sure she'd prefer it. #4 goes back to showing her casual look. In fact, it's almost safe to call a "lazy look", as it makes the least effort in hiding her shape. The occasion where this would happen remains unclear at this time (but maybe it's just for a day where she's not going anywhere).

Anyway, that's it for now, but by all means: ask questions, make suggestions, whatever. I'm always happy to hear.
