I amused myself too much with this page. I mean, it really is kinda sad how inept these parents are (and how totally real this situation can be for some people), but Rudy and Maria’s respective snarks make it funny.

Sometimes, a good sense of humor is just essential for getting past the nonsense in our lives.

Another question Rudy should ask: why would tools suddenly be useful after he's supposedly "cured"?

"Well son, your wrists, they wouldn't have been strong enough before…"

Let's just say that Randy's lucky he wasn't walking in front of me when I read this!

The first panel says it all ... "WTF???"

Ya know, I totally agree how crazy their parents are. Its just, Rudys complaint would sound more convincing, if he wasn't that good with make-up and crossdressing.

Ha. I feel sorry for Maria and Rudy's parents. When they find out that both of their children are gay there's gonna be a major family short-circuit.

the parents already knew rudy "was" gay that`s why he already has the book. the parents are truly ignorant to think homosexuality is cureable

So is any person who goes so far as to claim such nonsense in a whole written book

Sometimes, I wonder how much comedy gold I missed by not coming out to my parents ever.

I'm sure I missed something. I mean, one day my mom caught me jacking off to pictures of naked women, and felt the need to have an hour long conversation with me to be certain that I wasn't gay and understood that guys wanting to have sex with other guys was a sin. Telling her that I was a lesbian trans woman would've blown her mind, I'm sure.

I don't get the logic behind some religious people saying being gay or trans is against God's will. Like, he created everybody, so why does he have a problem with it?

Man, their parents are jerks.
