Good job, Rain. Way to rationally think out everything you’re going to say, so nothing comes off too harsh and no bridges are burned. That’s very responsible, and I think this is gonna go really well for you.
I feel sad now, because I wish I had someone like that (either Rain, so I could confess to them in person; or Rudy, who would confess to me, and be cute too).
This will, in a way, show whether or not that since Rain is Transgendered, that if she likes guys or not.
I've always wondered this throughout the series and in real life that if a person was transgendered, even though they're mentally and emotionally the opposite sex, that they physically like the same sex.
...Okay, I confused myself. @_@
Okay, this is what I'm trying to say:
If a person is transgendered (girl mentally and emotionally; physically a boy) and like (physically) the same sex (i.e. a boy), would that, on a technicality, mean that they're gay, eventhough they're mentally and emotionally a female?
Vice versa if they're transgendered, but like a girl, even though they're mentally and emotionally a girl themselves?
@Julia KaNeko
If a male-to-female transsexual likes boys, then she's straight. If she likes girls, than she's a lesbian.
Alternately, if a female-to-male transsexual likes boys, then he's gay. But if he likes girls, he's straight.
Ultimately though, whether one is attracted to men or women has nothing to do with whether a person is transsexual or not. Gender and sexuality are two completely different things. For instance, I know a good many transgendered men and women personally, and I'd actually say there's a pretty even split of straight transsexuals and gay ones.
Ooowwwwwwww my brain! @_x
So... If I got this right... Even though the person is transgendered, it's played out just like it is with people who aren't transgendered, right?
Basically, yeah. To simplify, look at it this way:
Instead of of trying to remember specific characteristics for male-to-female transsexuals, try taking out the "transgendered" part. Then she's just female. From there, it's a lot easier to discern what counts as straight or gay.
I once had someone try to convince me that being transgender was a sexuality. Like, I told him, and he said, "You can't be a lesbian; you're transgender." Then again, he's not my smartest friend, anyway.
I also, no joke, had someone ask, "Wait, if you don't like guys, why are you trans?" I hate people so much sometimes.
Thanks. I'm glad you were able to take the time to explain all this too me. I have a few friends (mainly bi or gay) but I never took the time to ask questions about this and that.
I guess I was like "I don't give a fuck what you are, what you look like, as long as you're human, like anime, gaming and random crazIness and can keep up with me and a good person at heart, that's what matters... Now wheres mah waffle sundae?! I crave teh sugar and syrup until I go into a sweeeeet coma!"

I hope that answers your question. ^_^
