Just some little things to strive for in 2023. It's not going to be easy, but I think it's fair and more than doable.

I hope y'all look forward to it. I know I will. ^_^

Number 6, Most important, never forget that you need breaks and you should never feel bad about it. Now if you will excuse me, I need a break.

I love your self-portrait there.
Also take all the time you need. Sure we can get impatient and greedy, but you get them done at your own pace. Okay.
Happy New Year!!!!

But can you tell me what the story is for the vol 7 bonus chapter? Or do you want it to be a surprise.

And... here I am. Suddenly I'm realizing, again, just how surreal it is that I've caught up to just over twelve years of posting in such a relatively short time. Reading not only every page, and every break filler, but also reading almost every one of your blurbs beneath them. (Except for a couple times when the story was in the middle / just finishing a very emotionally taxing arc and I needed to just press on with pages for a bit for my own sanity. I'm woman enough to admit this happened on at least three separate occasions that I can think of. What can I say -- you do a great job putting these beloved characters in tragic situations, despite the near-absence of any real physical danger to anyone throughout the entire 11½-year run.)

This isn't the exact page that served as the landing of the site for me the first time I opened it. That honor goes to the Volume 6 cover -- which, between me taking a moment to process that the comic was 12 years old upon my first hearing about it, as well as not noticing the distinction between chapters and volumes until the first volume was announced, was initially a bit confusing to me. 😅 And hilariously enough -- though I accidentally hit the "Latest" instead of the "Next" button several times while reading the first few chapters, I somehow never caught on to Rain's completely different haircut, nor Emily being pretty obviously pregnant. Though, it was right around when the Halloween party was announced that I realised the girl on the V6 cover was Emily. (Still not noticing that it said "volume" rather than "chapter," I initially assumed it was a newly posted or updated cover for the Halloween chapter -- which confused me a bit when I saw their actual costumes. It would be not long after this that I realised the dresses from V6 had some completely different purpose, and that based on their expressions, Emily must actually warm up to Rain at some point. WOW how far we've come. (And I still didn't notice the baby bump until much later!!!))

All this to say.... happy new year? ^^' Good luck with your current goals? idk, I'm just a hopeless lesbian who fell in love with these disturbingly relatable characters and will probably never get over it. Their high school adventures remind me of the experiences I wish I got to have in that setting, and my own (currently in full bloom) second puberty. And their timeskip appearances remind me that they're (the main cast of teens-to-young-adults, if it wasn't obvious) very close to me in age and general demographic irl. I like to think some of us could be good friends.

I'm gonna try to stop myself from continuing to post this all over the site, but thank you again for making Rain, and Rain. She, her friends, and their story mean so much to me and I will cherish them forever. I'm really curious to see what else you have in store -- but a second reading of Rain might be in order first. I'm still not emotionally caught up after experiencing it all in such a short time, and I think a second run - knowing what I now know (and a lot of which I imagine you knew, at least in outline, for years and years before the story concluded) about how things turn out for everyone - might do me a lot of good. See you on another page, perhaps~💕

If you're already working on the bonus chapter for Vol. 7, does that mean that Vol. 6 is done? Can we order it already? If so, what is the URL?

BTW, could you put on the RAIN home webpage the URL for your "online store," i.e., the place where we can order books (and whatever other merch. you have for sale -- like, do you have pin-up pictures of bunnies? ☺)

Hi there! I just finished reading through Rain, and I just wanted to say thank you for writing that story! It's really important that stories like that exist, and that they're actually good, so thank you so much! It's awesome to see that you're still creating as well, I'll have to check out what you're working on now. I hope your future is bright and filled with the best of days ♡♡♡

Hi, I just wanted to say that while I found this comic only a few days ago, it has been so incredibly meaningful and impactful for me. Rain's story is so beautiful, and I'm so glad there is something like this out there. I'm still young, but I've struggled with my gender identity for a long time, having only figured it out this past year, but I've still dealt with a lot of doubts and impostor syndrome. Reading this comic has made me more sure of who I am than anything else ever has. I am so sad to see it go because of how important it is to me (while admittedly it is definitely far more important to you). I love Rain so much and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for telling her story.
