Fun fact: When I started posting this chapter and first realized it was going to run for several months (but was still unsure of the final page count), I was filled with dread that the final page might go up on April Fools Day, and then nobody would even believe it was real. I had been low-key planning to split a two pager into more than one post or something to make sure it didn't happen if it came to that. Turns out, there's still a few weeks left so - thankfully - nothing had to be changed.
No pranks either. Just the next page of the story. I'm super boring like that. I hope you enjoy what'll probably be the only normal thing posted from anyone today. ^^;
Rain, all characters and all other aspects of the story are copyright material belonging to me.
Based on https://rain.thecomicseries.com/comics/543, I don't think they actually met so I doubt Colin recognized Rain beyond maybe having a resemblance to Fara
This page is probably going to do terribly because everyone will be too wary of clicking thinking it's some kind of prank. It's a little frustrating, honestly. Hopefully, people realize it eventually. - -;
Oh yeah, Rain mentioned swinging by home to wash her face after the makeup started running from her crying. And I meant that to imply why she's arriving after Emily.

I think I cut the line because it didn't feel natural, but I probably should have addressed that in the blurb, at least. Sorry about that. ^^;
I was told about this webcomic a week ago from a friend. And I've been binge reading since. Every day, every morning, night and break from work. Good timing as well, it's been helping me adjust to full time work as a trans woman in a typically male heavy field.
I accidentally saw the chapter list a few days ago and was worried the webcomic was over when I saw the title of 44. But here I am, in time for the wrap up.
I just wanted to say how fantastic this (admittedly short in comparison to yours) journey has been, and to thank you Jocelyn, if you ever see this. For making such a touching and wonderful work of art this last decade.
I sometimes am a bit sad I didn't find this earlier to be along for more of the ride. But I still love this comic and in 2 weeks (I think, its been a weird year so far) I already want to buy all the books
What, no episode of "The Adventures of Totally Normal Dad Ryan"? ;)
TBH I feel like April Fools was rather low-key due to * waves hands vaguely at universe * that's been going on the rest of the year. You're hardly boring, but nothing wrong with a bit of boring now and then.
I wonder if Colin recognizes Rain because of her work on the internet? Wouldn't it be incredible if Colin was watching her content in hopes to better understand and support his daughter?

(The beginning of chapter 23).
I have. It's just in the bonus chapter of Volume1. :)

Ideally, forever. I don't have any plans to take them down. :)
