Hey, Rain Beaus! It's been almost a month since I last posted a page. I promised filler art and Rain Delays and then went mostly radio silent for weeks. Whoops! Sorry about that. ^^;
But today, let me give y'all a little update!
With the exception of the Summer Emily pic (and one other thing I'll talk about at a later date) I haven't been drawing much of anything in the last month or so. I've spent a lot of my work time writing instead. I'd had basic outlines of what happens in the coming chapters for a while, but it was finally time to write the scripts themselves. So, Chapter 42 and 43 are now fully written out (and I will neither confirm nor deny whether that's everything or not). ;P
This is actually fantastic progress and I'm pretty darn happy with everything I've got right now. I'd like to get back to drawing pages this week, but a good chunk of it may be dedicated to working out some designs for everyone. This is just a little tease, (plus me getting adventurous and playing with shading a little; don't read too much into that for now, though). :)
The original plan was to have the comic return to posting in February/March. I am doing well, but because I want to keep this going at a productive and comfortable rate, I'm at this time aiming more for March. I'll keep you posted for when I can nail down an exact date. (Maybe I'll still try to find a moment for those fillers and Delays when I can. Or maybe I'll just share some more teases!) XD
Until then, I love you all and please take care! ^_^
Ooo, I like the double layer of hair by her forehead! Take your time. I'm glad you're feeling productive and comfortable.
Out of curiosity, have you ever considered going back to the earlier pages and cleaning up the art to match the current quality? (Or maybe that's too much work -- that's fair too.)
Thank you so much for creating this comic Jocelyn! It gave me much comfort during hard times and I am very happy that it isn't finished yet. :D
You mentioned that your ageing copy of PS is bugging you sometimes. If you feel in the mood, perhaps you want to take a deeper look at Krita. This is a free and open source drawing program for illustrators and artists. Besides free tutorials there are also several features and add-ons that should be very appealing to comic artists. Perhaps you find this helpful. :)
I don't know if you discovered this on your own or not but there are tucking swimsuits in one piece and bikini variants available. I heard it from a former tenant who stayed at our house a few years ago who still hasn't had SRS yet.
Grab your tissues as we take a warming trip into the future (and end of the story).
I can't wait, I'm so pumped! Well, maybe I can? I dunno.
