Not a whole lot to say here, but maybe Rain will get through this after all. XD
I didn't want to spend a lot of time on finals themselves, because I stand by that I don't think it's particularly interesting or relevant to the overall story myself. But as we've just spent the last seven weeks of pages watching characters study for exams (or at least intending to do so), I figured I could dedicate at least one page to it. XD
Do we know who the teacher handing Rain the exam is? The only other gray-haired teacher I can recall is Brother Arthur, but this person doesn't look like him.
This isn't any specific teacher. Might not even be one of Rain's; she just happens to be proctoring for this exam here. This is just a generic teacher lady. :)
I've actually even heard some schools having a policy of having teachers proctor final exams for classes that aren't theirs. I seem to recall my junior high school did that exactly one year for at least some students, due to allegations of certain rather unlikely shenanigans.
Oh, my heart stopped at the second panel. At first I thought Rain got her test back and we were about to find out it was a failing grade. But no, we didn't skip that far ahead into the future, haha. And it looks like she will be fine thanks to Emily <3
Perhaps you have already answered this question, but is "Rain" going to end with graduation, or you are planning to continue and we are going to see Rain&co. in college?
In the past, many readers would say stuff like, "I guess it probably ends when they graduate." And I've tended to be pretty coy about it, usually just pointing out that I never actually said that's where it would end. I wouldn't specify when, but I would kinda call out that graduation might not be as likely as some would think.
But this chapter it titled "Graduation", and I'm also on the record pointing out that it is not final chapter. So, I think it might finally be safe to say - with utmost conviction - that it does not end with graduation. ^_^
Now, with all that said, I haven't actually said we'd see them in college. Maybe we will, maybe we won't. Still so many mysteries! XD
That's a tutor you can count on.
> The answers seem to be flowing out of your hand!
Well, it's definitely not Brother Arthur. ^^;

-studies for test-
“You quickly realize a lot of this is familiar. You leave feeling confident in your answers.”
I guess it goes without saying, but I love this so much
