We begin Chapter 40 with the 1,200th page! Huzzah for milestones! Okay, but things are pretty serious right now, so maybe I should save the celebrations for another time. ^^;
I admit there's not much I want to add here, though. If anything's unclear, feel free to ask, but I think I'll just let the page do the talking for now.
For much of the series Rain is the one who's needed support, and Emily has been giving it to her. That hasn't always been the case (e.g. when Emily first found out she was pregnant), but it's still seems like this is the reverse of the usual scenario.
These emotional comics are feel vibrant to me. They touch me in various ways, from saddness to anger to joy. This is such a well laid out comic, and I really feel the emotion here: despair is heavy in this comic, and I feel for Emily.
Can we just take a moment to acknowledge how the family in this house has grown, and it's all down to Fara's amazing sense of responsibility and care for the people around her,and unconditional love and support. She didn't have to take Jess and Emily (and by extension, Emily's baby) in, we know she's not in the best financial situation ever, and she couldn't be blamed for turning them away and finding other ways to help instead... but she welcomes them in anyway. She is amazing ❤
Hopefully, Emily will remove everything valuable to her from the home before torching it. And make certain it's a wet day so the fire is not a danger to other homes or woodland in the area.
I figure if she's going to end up practicing arson, she should at least practice it safely!
