We finally get out of the lobby and back to the dance floor, and likewise finally catch back up with Ruby and Ky. We also see Mr. Broom giving the two a hard time (and it sounds like he's been at it for a while), and Fara coming to their rescue. As for Broom reporting it on Monday, who can say how much will come of that? Brother Arthur - the interim principal for the rest of the school year, if you recall - probably won't care that much. But again, who can say?
Anyway, this is purely the teacher perspective on the outfit switch. We haven't seen fellow students respond yet. In a way, it's funny 'cause a lot of folks probably wouldn't even notice if they only see these two from behind. XD
Also, I posted on my Patreon yesterday for the first time in... longer than I care to admit. I wanna be better about using it going forward too.
If folks are interested in a little behind the scenes with Rain (and other future stories) alongside some new art, and/or you want to help out your favorite webcomic author (or at least one who's up there for you, I hope), feel free to become a patron today and check it out. I'd like to try and be more on top of things there going forward, and I do have more planned for there later this week. ^_^ https://www.patreon.com/RainComic
If you can't do it, certainly no hard feelings and you don't need to explain why. I'm just trying to be better at doing my job here.
Brother Arthur certainly doesn't seem to care that much, but with an official report he'll likely be required to take some action. Now the question is whether he is allowed any discretion in the matter - in which case he'll probably do some trivial punishment like one day lunch detention - of if it's some silly 'no tolerance' policy in which case things might get very serious.
She's probably at the point where the kids' antics don't phase her. I think it would have been hilarious if on the way home she makes a comment about Rudy's suit and Rain corrects her about him only wearing it to walk in.
Oh I thought that Fara's "How did you even-" was directed at Gerald, and I was really confused what she meant. But it makes much more sense that she's talking to the kids. Thanks!
hmm. the impression that I got was that Fara knew who was who, but it didn't occur to her until that moment to wonder how they accomplished the clothes swap. like, presumably she heard more of the lecture before this strip, in order to know he'd been going on long enough to tell him to stop, and from the off-panel-previous-lecturing the context would give her enough info to know what they were doing? buut, maybe not, it works either way i guess ^^
I am seriously hoping this backfires when he reports it. Especially since they really are doing nothing wrong, and I doubt anyone who has dealt with Rudy/Ruby/Rudiby is phased by it at this point.
I Love that this guy thinks reporting this is gonna do anything XD Ky doesn't go to this school and is there as a guest, and Rudy? What's the worst they can do? Kick him out of school? XD He's pretty untouchable right now, his mother has gone full Momma bear mode because of what happened with Maria and has stopped trying to get her kids to stop being who they are, and their dad is out of the house. So really? There's not gonna be any Bad Repercussions for Either of them.
Never happened to me before
Never
Also what's Mr. Broom's first name again?
His first name is Gerald. Gerald Broom.
He's just a crossdresser. So still a guy, as opposed to Ky who was a girl earlier, but is neither a girl nor a guy now
