It's probably super obvious, but this was originally written as part of a two-pager. I have complex feelings about this one given the split of information, but I really do want to limit the amount two-pagers in the future (I say this, as of course I have one coming up next week anyway). But in this case, of course Brother Arthur has more to say, and we will hear the rest of it next time (though I'm sure I'll still be asked "why didn't Arthur bring up [this] or [that]?" no matter what).
We'll get to it though. In the meantime, I'm sure there's plenty to focus on right here.
Also, some of you may have heard from Facebook or Twitter already that my RedBubble account (for which I use to sell shirts and merch and stuff) is unavailable for the time being. And I may be looking into other sites for this kind of merchandise in the future. Sorry for the inconvenience.
All right Arthur, way to stand up for all those girls. I doubt this is gonna lead to Quinton overturning Maria's expulsion though. Hell, that look on the last panel tells me he doesn't give a shit about Todd's actions. Why is that I wonder?
YUS! Though the Montoya's should stop threatening and just go ahead and sue. I hope they hear just how large a problem Todd is and has their lawyer start the process.
Who says they haven't started the process? There is a certain amount of paperwork up front that needs to be done, gathering of evidence, and so forth. From what I've heard, judges tend to be more favorable to cases that didn't just outright sue, but gave some time for resolution outside of the legal system.
I'd guess that a better description of the Montoya's stance is "preparing their case", but for whatever reason, threatening to sue tends to go over better than preparing to sue.
Threatening to sue isn't a bad idea tbh. As soon as legal action starts, everything starts going through lawyers and everything becomes really slow. The initial threat can be useful for some immediate change to a situation.
Didn't Chanel out and out say that her parents had talked to Lawyers? Cause that's not 'threatening' at that point, honestly, but Arthur might not have access to that information but could easily know that her parents were looking in that direction.
Most senior-level fake "Christians" are actually demons.... or at the very minimum, one of the devil's minions or lackeys. Every baptist youth minister I've ever met here in Texas gives me the creeps.... and I can't help but wonder how bad of a pedophile he is..... especially since every few months you hear of yet another so-called conservative evangelical Christian church official or elected politician getting busted by the cops for some unsavory disgusting sex offense.
Wow! Brother Arthur has certainly grown a pair of balls. And living up to what he resolved to become back in this espisode: http://rain.thecomicseries.com/comics/227
Arthur made a good move bring up potential legal action. Father Quinton may have been willing to look the other way when Todd was threatening a gay kid whose parents were anti-gay, but I doubt he cares more about Todd than avoiding multiple lawsuits. Hopefully this means Todd will be leaving. Maybe we'll get a cameo from him as a sewer cleaner some time in the future.
Go brother Arthur!
I'm guessing that he will brings up the Rudy situation on the next page. It was a good idea to start with the girls, there's more chance that Quinton will be sympathetic to them that to the gay guy.
Please tell me Arthur has copies of those, I get the feeling this is very much not going to go according to plan and those will come in handy when it doesn't
I really like the character of brother Arthur because he shows that there are Christians who are truly good people, and who really are looking out for others. He's kind of like me. I'm a good Christian, and a believer of God's word. But if someone is talking shit or bullying one of my friends, gay or straight or whatever, I will stand up for them and help em. Because that is what God teaches us and because it's the right thing to do.

Supposedly that man is a human with feelings?
Thanks as always!

oh, and I also feel the need to say: Go Arthur!! :-)
