I know some of you might be taken aback by the tonal whiplash after the last page, but I'm hoping the "stupid and cliché" nature of this page provides a bit of a lighter balance here. Probably expect a fair bit of up and down going forward with this chapter. All that said, to anyone about to lose it over the cliffhanger, I promise you'll see where that's going in THIS chapter. You won't have to wait too long; but there is a lot to cover here, and I've got my unique chapter structure to maintain.
equating being trans to doing drag is absolutely transphobic. Also Rudy isn't doing drag. The argument over whether they are trans aside, drag is a performance. If Rudy is not trans then what they are doing is simple cross dressing.
No one equated being trans with drag, mentioning drag queens is not trasphobic. You're entitled to your feelings and you may also want to fact check before you get angry over what you think a comment means.
I'm not as confused by it, but it's still annoying to have those stories interspersed like that. It breaks up the tension in a bad way imo, and creates unnecessary dangling threads that prevent getting immersed in either story.
Agreed, it's confusing for me too. I think having a 3:3 alternation would be better and fix this issue while still being able to tell two storylines in the same chapter.
