I'm not sure what else to add here other than that cute people are still cute. It might not seem like a terribly significant page right now, but I hope y'all still like it. ^_^
A nice reminder of the insane plan Rain agreed to that will totally not backfire when the principal does show up at the Prom. I mean, it wouldn't be Rain (the comic) if things go too smoothly.
I bet it'll be something that Emily didn't even consider. Maybe a couple of the chaperones are going to be Maria/Ruby's parents, or maybe drew is going to try to "do something" about all those girls who chose to go with each other instead of him.
Drew deserves a lot of things for continually forgetting the personhood of others was more important than his preconceived notions of how things should go, probably mostly formed from the words of others who related their own preconceived notions of how things should go.
Being mistaken for Todd isn't one of them. Drew is the guy who asked Ky to the prom, but kept insisting she be in [Edit: girl] mode that evening, rather than taking the actual manly approach and arranging to be able to wear a dress if he wasn't in [Edit: girl] mode that night.
Also, it's my understanding that none of the girls Todd asked out are technically going with other girls. They may be going with guys that Todd has asserted were girls, but he clearly didn't believe it, as he hasn't asked any of them to the prom. (Most of his questions were not actually depicted in the comic, but given this is Rain, you pretty much know at least one of *those* would be if there were any.)
Editted: changed guy to girl a couple of places where I clearly meant girl. Not sure how I messed that up.
*Even if it is majestically stumbling across a dance floor.
