Not to be outdone by all the other terrible parents in the story (since we talked about how awful Ky's mom, Emily's mom, and Rain's dad are in the last chapter), Mr. Strongwell decides to step up his game.

If it's any consolation, I promise not every queer or gender non-conforming kid's parent in the comic is irredeemable. Aunt Fara, Chanel's parents, and Ana's dad are all still - and will always be - cool.

Seems like a lucky accident that Rudy forgot the boy-love manga in the bathroom, probably would have made things all the worse.

All of these terrible parents...This is why i am scared of coming out....

But Ana's Dad is cool! I wish Ana's Dad would adopt me!

Gavin's dad is cool, too

Honestly, people like their parents need the shit kicked out of them and if that doesn't get them to straighten up then we should start removing them from society.

No, straightening up is the problem

It seems like Ana's still there. I'm guessing she's going to ask about Ruby. Although, she'll probably wait until she's alone with Rudy to do so.
Drumada (Guest)
Well that's exactly what I thought had happened. On the bright side they reacted to Rubyless severely than I had expected

The fact that they're in school seems like a bad sign to me. Like their punishment is yet to come, but Mr. Strongwell just hasn't figured out what he's going to do yet. There is no way he saw all this and just sent them off to school.

I was worried last page that this is what happened, that their parents got home before Ruby. And I'm worried there's more to come from Mr. Stockwell. Especially if he sees any ads for conversion therapy or such.

What if there were conversations in the phone that would out Rain? I wouldn’t put it past them to call up the school to yell about it, and that’d be disastrous. We can only hope that doesn’t happen.

Seriously what is the point of taking your children's phones? They'll find a way to talk to their friends no matter what you do so all you're doing is making it so they can't contact you incase of an emergency
