Oh, and in other light news, Rain's anniversary is actually coming up soon too. On November 29th, it'll have been four years since the first page went up. I'll at the very least make sure I can post something for that. ^_^

Haven't done this in a while. New fanart has slowed down coming in, so besides wanting to wait until I was feeling a little better before doing one of these again, I wanted to just make sure there was enough to showcase.

I mentioned on a couple sites a few days ago that my recovery was going well. Later that same day, there may have been a small hiccup that sent me to the ER for a whole day. I'm okay. Despite the scare, I personally feel fine, the doctors didn't seem particularly worried, and my wife and I are keeping a watchful eye on everything. But on account of this, I do think it's likely the hiatus may continue for a while. Likely January. I just want to make sure I'm back to 100% and not having to run out to see doctors on a frequent basis before I get back into the swing of things.

With all that said, just lying around can make a person stir crazy. I can't sit at my computer desk for long hours drawing pages, but writing can continue (since I can drag my computer anywhere), and I'll do my best to create some other art if possible in the meantime (if slowly). The Transgender Day of Remembrance, for instance, is on November 20th; and while I don't know if I'll be able to have anything, I definitely would like to try. Additionally, Rain's fourth anniversary since first post is November 29th, so I'd love to whip up another montage like the last few years. There's also fan art brewing in my brain, and canon Rain side-stories I'm considering writing in prose to fill the void from the hiatus.

I'm not promising anything, and I'll slap the next person to tell me to rest, because that's exactly what I'm doing all the time. But as restful as my body is, I can't stop my brain from going (it's just how I am). That's why I'm saying I'd like to draw or write something... if not for you, than for me. I can't guarantee any of it will happen, but I'd like to try.

In the meantime, you folks just enjoy some fan art (one of which, unrelated to my work, but fanart made with me in mind nonetheless), and even a fan fic. I just hope I didn't miss anything from the last two weeks of contributions. Lemme know if I missed yours, and I'll make certain it goes up next time. ^_^

That awkward moment when you wake up realizing that you're little more than 24 hours away from undergoing surgery for the first time in your life... and you might be a little bit completely terrified. XD

Deep breaths!

So this is the last of the fanart submission posts for a little while. Tomorrow is the surgery, and for all I know, I may still be weak and recovering for a while following that. So don't expect much for a couple days, at least. With that said, I would love to be able to come back to more wonderful art and I will post it all as soon as I can, so please don't let my absence for a couple days be a deterrent. ^_^

I skipped a day again. Yesterday was evidentally a slow day with only one submission, so I opted to wait an extra day for a little more accumulation. It worked! Today we have four new fan art pieces and one fan fiction (beware, it's really sad).

I just want to reiterate that Tuesday is my surgery date. I'll definitely try to post one of these tomorrow, but I think it's safe to say you shouldn't expect much on Tuesday and probably Wednesday. And... after that, we'll go from there. I'm still not quite sure when I'll get back to posting real pages, so feel free to keep submitting fan art in the meantime.

Sorry for the delay. Today's update includes all of today's entries as well as yesterday's since I never did get around to posting.

Do be aware that my surgery is this coming Tuesday in the morning, so more than likely, I will be halting big posts for fanart entries around that time. Not that that means you can't still produce some fanart or fanfics for me to come back to, I might not be showcasing them for a period. Until then though, I'll continue to do my best to post these daily. ^_^
