Hey, hey! The RainComicStore on Etsy has reopened! :D
https://www.etsy.com/shop/RainComicStore
Some lovely new pride-themed bracelets/anklets will be joining the roster of wristbands already available (all made by my lovely wife, Kelly). And as always, if you don't see your pride available, custom requests are available; we're more than happy to accommodate if we can. And just in case you're wondering, scarves are not permanently gone. They will be available again this Fall. ^_^
Not surprised Maria picked up on the that Rain and Emily are dating.
Not sure that was what Maria was hoping to get out of following her...
Look forward to seeing wether or not Emily gets expelled from a Catholic Highschool for being pregnant (just a little fyi, my mom went to Catholic Highschool and in her graduating class there where 2 girls who where pregnant and 1 who had already had a kid that graduated ,And that was in 1978 )
Emily is going to face a lot of hardship for this, but I don't see them expelling her. My biggest fear is that the school may go after Chase and reopen that can of worms.
Honestly, Chase seems kinda like a jerk. When even pretty much the girl who chopped Rain's hair "for his own good" got ticked off at this guy, this says loads.
This was a guy who knocked a girl up, then left her alone because she was being immature, then tries to call her when he finds she is pregnant. He strikes me as the sort who would tell her to get rid of it, because he didn't want to deal with the consequences of his actions. Well, he should.
Emily has done nothing wrong, outside of acting sorta bitchy earlier (which was a pose anyway). Chase, on the other hand, if he is bad enough news that the worst character so far can't stand him, forget him. And this is the big jerk that outed Rain to her brother.

Bottom line, I think Rain's sister (forgot her name) might eventually come around. But Chase seems like the type that will never offer anything productive to the rest of the cast.
On the subject of Chanel, I know she's already expressed frustration at being the last to find things out, so I wonder if that will ever becomes a bigger thing in the future. Whilst she is a bit oblivious, it also doesn't help that she doesn't really get told things as much as the rest of the group. I can definitely see that becoming a much bigger issue as time goes on.
As far as I know, a catholic institution would support the mother to give birth to her child. Abortion would be a no-go for them, so they support young mothers. So I don't think she will be expelled.
I got so hocked by this that I read everything trough within the last three days. I really like how the character of Emily developed, at first I liked how she didn't care a dust about all the gossip, but then again she was one of those everything-has-to-be-perfect girls. And now as the facade crumbles she became on of the most self-honest confident and loving people. She by far became my favorite character.
Then about Chase. I know he attracts a lot of hate, but I can totally see him turning into a surprise too. After all, it's also his child he might actually care about it and Emily, maybe he even gets his problems together because of it. It might be hard work for him, and he probably will never give up searching for the relationships he has. And he seems to still love Emily. It's easy to pick on him for having "dated a teen", but it's also easy to pick on lesbians or transgender people. I just hope for him not to become a stereotypic black-white figure.
By the way, Rain with short hair looks super cute.
You're half right. Me is the right word but it would be "Rain and me." Also a sentence shouldn't start "And." I'll chalk this up to teens talking casually though and still enjoy it.
So... Maria doesn't look too happy in the last panel. I think she is hurt by/skeptical of Emily hiding her relationship with Rain because of past events. (Even if she consciously understands the reasons for it.)

I think Gavin and Rudy will figure it out quickly, and Chanel will find out in about 2 years after they've all graduated... poor Chanel XD

Me and rain, not Rain and I
