Let it be said of Emily's character: if she really regretted her choice that much, she would have done something about it by now. That said, no choice is without consequences. Especially big life-changing choices like, for example, pregnancy or transition. I bawled my eyes out the night before I went fulltime. I couldn't even tell you why, but I felt fantastic after I did. Sometimes, you just need a good cry.

Also, don't worry. I'm not gonna do something super cliche and have Emily go into labor at the prom. I can't think of any examples off the top of my head, but I feel like I've seen it happen in a lot of shows/movies in the past. So it'd be way too easy and I'm not doing it, so let's debunk the heck out of that theory right now. XD

Also, I've said this before, but I'm trying to raise money for SRS, and I'm still struggling with it. If you can help, it would be most welcome. If not, don’t worry about it. I totally understand (you don't need to feel bad or apologize if you can’t).

Can't blame her. I'm not a girly girl, but I had so much fun at prom both years I went. I loved getting dressed up (and then proceeding to stain both dresses—I'm pretty sure I'm cursed xD).

Lucky! I didn't want to go at all, didn't have it in me to go in a suit

Never went to prom. I hated the very idea of it. But later in life, I regret not going. Especially if I had known I was transgender in High School.

Though, living in what is considered a conservative city, more back then than now, I don't think I'd be here to type this if I had. :(

Attended my prom in a suit ( I wasn't out then) but my then girlfriend and my last girlfriend Both looked great in there dresses. I'm not big into looking pretty so I don't fell bad about not getting to wear a pretty dress. ( in all honesty I will probably never wear a dress,sweat pants are just so comfy)

I remember attending prom and overhearing two girls gossiping about me. One girl said "he's actually kinda cute", and even though her friend retorted that I was too weird-looking, the fact that the word "cute" was used to describe me kinda stuck with me ^_^ I'd gotten kind of sick of being called "handsome". :P That word never felt like a compliment to me.

Although if given the chance to do it again, I don't know if I'd wear a dress... Maybe, but ever since I became familiar with queer women I've developed kind of a crush on ladies' suits @u@ I want one for my wedding someday ^_^

@Jen Done

Honestly, you can wear whatever you like. The girl I took to prom was not terribly traditional, and opted to wear a cheongsam and velvet cape. It stood out a lot... but actually, she really kinda rocked it. XD

In short, you like lady suits, then do it. As with anything else, do what feels right to you.

I wore combat boots and fishnets with my dress to my prom. c: it was glorious.
Lady suits are great, though, and I say go for it. Prom needs a change up.
