I think that if Drew is crushing on Ky, then Drew should know what he's crushing on. It will help him better make an informed decision about his sexuality.
Completely agree. If they are that worried about it, they should tell Ky and have her decide what to do. After all, she might be interested in the guy too...
Personally, I like the idea of Ky dealing with it. Possibly with some logistical assist from the rest of the main cast.
Basically, start deliberately running into Drew both as a girl and as a boy, and see if he ever makes a move. Maybe ze could even talk to him, to break the ice.
If Drew showed interest in zer dressed both ways, then ze would probably be safe considering dating him and letting him know what was up.
If Drew only showed interest in zer dressed as a girl, but confessed of his interest in zer dressed as a boy, the next step in my mind would be to talk through his concerns regarding that interest, while ze was still dressed as a girl, with a goal of moving to the first option mentioned.
If Drew only expressed interest when ze was dressed as a boy, he's probably not able to handle someone like zer.
If Drew couldn't express interest in zer directly but confided in the other main cast members, handling is trickier.
If Drew never expressed interest in zer again, we have a horse and water situation. We don't want to drown Drew.
All that said, Ky hasn't taken action on that so far, I doubt she's that interested. And whether to pursue or not, out herself or not, is her choice, so we're done here.
In this case Maria's right...It's not like Kylie is pursuing a long term relationship with him. and even if Kylie was..it's Kylie's job to tell him...not Gavin's.
That being said, to answer where they get the energy?...Girlfriends (even Ex Girlfriends) always have energy to argue...it's a female thing (Ducks under the table)
Hmm, so far only people we saw Drew being attracted to were Kylie (as Kyle), and Rudy (as Ruby), aint that right?
I think Maria is in the right here. Its not like Kylie is coming on to him, so its not like Gavin has to walk to him as whisper "Dude, Kylie's a girl."
Personally I think Gavin is right. He should be told that Ky is a Girl... Especially if his belief of his own sexuality is based solely on his interaction with Ky. You never know what will happen, but the guy should at least learn the truth... Its only right.
I don't think telling him is necessary. For one, shouldn't somebody ask Ky before outing them? That would be a betrayal of trust. For another, they don't really know this guy, so why is it their business? Unless he asks, like, hey, you know that blonde guy you guys brought to the Halloween party, and then that leads into it, and they introduce them, and Ky comes in girl-mode.
Ky's gender and when to reveal or not to reveal it is her own personal right, although it may make things easier for Drew only Ky has the right to make that decision, anyone making it for her is crossing a social and moral line that should never be crossed by anyone, period..
DREW IS PAN DREW IS PAN YAY I GET SOME REPRESENTATION IN THE MEDIA *throws pans at every character until they educate themselves and be content with who they are even if they skip the damn labels*
Also, I think Maria's reasoning in panel four makes the most sense of anything.
He needs to move on, and come to grips with his own sexuality.
So yeah, I agree with Maria.
