Another Chapter 3 reference in panel 2. Gosh, remember when Rain and Maria looked like that? How far we've come! XD
Actually, brief general Chapter 24 nod in panel 5 as well, with Rain bringing up the convention she and Emily went to together. Lots of memories here today.
Maybe this day will lead to some new memories for our girls. :)
Also! In recent years, I've participated in Inktober (in 2018 and 2019). This year, a lot of artists are jumping to OCtober instead, and I kinda wanna participate too, but I'm busy with the comic and the game and don't wanna pile too much else on. So, I think I'd like to do a truncated OCtober, just showcasing a little of what I'm working on behind the scenes, at the very least.
So, instead of 31 days of original character drawings all month, I would like to share just 8 days of original character drawings on Rain's off days (Tuesday and Thursday each week), introducing the main playable cast of the game I'm working on, Save the Princess. With Comic Fury, it'd just break up the sequential flow of Rain too much, and I don't really want to interfere with the current arc if I don't have to. I'll provide links in the comments here when they're live if you want (or you can follow me on Twitter to see them as soon as they go live). I hope you'll all look forward to them.
These comics feel so warm in comparison to the first few comics of this chapter. I feel a lot better getting more happy comics to go along with the deeply emotional panels that make the story complete.
I can't even begin to say how much this comic has helped me...
Although me, myself am not transgender.. my mom came out early this spring. To be honest, it was pretty hard to cope with at first. It was so awkward talking to him, I guess I just felt like I lost someone I knew for so long. I tried my best to be supportive, but I feel I wasn't as knowledgeable about the transgender community as I could've been until I started reading this comic. This comic let me meet a few friends who helped me do my best to be supportive of my mum. Sorry for the long rant, what I'm trying to say is thank you author for making this comic. It has helped me and my mom so much. :)
As a follow up to what I was saying in the page description about sharing characters from my game, Save the Princess, the first character drawing went up earlier today.
- immediately adds you -
I can finally follow one of the people whose story helped me decide to transition...
...
I'm totally fangirling huh?
Funny story
I discovered Rain about 8 years ago and the page it was on when I found it was page 258 the closet
(I recently introduced a non anointed one to jjba)
They figured it was all I read/watched XD

That is all.
Loving the expressions used here as well :3
Also, it's interesting looking back and seeing how the old art style looks like the faces got squished a bit.
