Time passes and everyone's congregated back into the living room. I used this opportunity to have Jess explain the Prom King mixup as if from Fara too. I know it's been a point of frustration/confusion for people, so hopefully this all makes sense. I'm not really sure how to make it any clearer at this point.

Either way, it seems the news is well received by everyone. Even Kellen. She doesn't share what she's thinking, but she almost looks... relieved.

It's probably worth noting that the current chapter is catching up and starting to align with the previous one. I wonder what happens next...

Ooh, nice explanation on how they counted the first vote alphabetically. That explains why Rain seemingly beat Gavin despite Gavin actually getting more votes from the readers (unless we just assume the vote totals were substantially different in-universe than out).

Kellen definitely has the potential to improve.

I like the fact that they all noticed Kellen smile but aren't making a big deal of it out loud. It shows that Kellen is maturing but still isn't fully redeamed

I feel like Kellen is smiling a hurtful smile because she feels like "even though I attacked Rain she is still successfully living her life."

Wish family issues always smoothed over this easy. I haven't talked to my family in years and there really isn't a foreseeable way to bridge the gap.

I can't handle the toxicity.

Do we really have to keep hammering on the prom king thing? I was really hoping we could just not with this anymore. Please?

@Tan

It was kind of a big event. It's not really something that can just be swept under the rug. And moreover, it's pretty important to Rain's arc too. Sorry. ^^;

Out the ball park.

It's a nice touch people noticed, bit didn't flap over the smile. One day at a time is what it takes, sometimes.
