And just like that, Maria and Emily are left alone and unsupervised. Way to go, Pete; you had one job!

I know some of you might be taken aback by the tonal whiplash after the last page, but I'm hoping the "stupid and cliché" nature of this page provides a bit of a lighter balance here. Probably expect a fair bit of up and down going forward with this chapter. All that said, to anyone about to lose it over the cliffhanger, I promise you'll see where that's going in THIS chapter. You won't have to wait too long; but there is a lot to cover here, and I've got my unique chapter structure to maintain.

That shouldn't have worked. But it did, so yay!

Well this is a nice laugh after almost seeing poor Rudy get smacked around.

Snort. I freaked out at first because I thought that was Blair and it was actually happening

Dungeons and Drag Queens when?
Ladyoftheroundtable 25th Apr 2018, 10:44 PM edit delete reply
That was totally uncalled for. This is not the place to be transphobic

I think Pete rolled a Nat 1 on his preception check

And Guest that is completely uncalled for
Drake Zephyr 26th Apr 2018, 1:23 AM edit delete reply
I didn't really think it was trans-phobic. I feel like sometimes people are a bit oversensitive to small things like what guest said.
Darkxluna 26th Apr 2018, 2:30 AM edit delete reply
Yeah. Rudy wears drag so it's not like it's untrue. It's just a pun y'all.
Ladyoftheroundtable 26th Apr 2018, 4:57 AM edit delete reply
equating being trans to doing drag is absolutely transphobic. Also Rudy isn't doing drag. The argument over whether they are trans aside, drag is a performance. If Rudy is not trans then what they are doing is simple cross dressing.
Guest 2 26th Apr 2018, 8:09 AM edit delete reply
Guest didn't equate doing Drag to being trans.
The pun made me smile.
I thinks it's fine.

I reslly don't see how you could've perceived that as a transphobic comment?
Drake Zephyr 26th Apr 2018, 1:58 PM edit delete reply
It's just a frikin joke dude. Don't get triggered by small things like that, kay?
Fox 26th Apr 2018, 10:46 PM edit delete reply
No one equated being trans with drag, mentioning drag queens is not trasphobic. You're entitled to your feelings and you may also want to fact check before you get angry over what you think a comment means.

I agree, definitely cliche.
Fox 25th Apr 2018, 10:21 PM edit delete reply
I'm honestly getting confused by the back and forth. I have to keep going back and re reading.
Milllll 27th Apr 2018, 1:11 AM edit delete reply
I'm not as confused by it, but it's still annoying to have those stories interspersed like that. It breaks up the tension in a bad way imo, and creates unnecessary dangling threads that prevent getting immersed in either story.

Sort of a repetitive version of when someone
JS 27th Apr 2018, 10:13 AM edit delete reply
Agreed, it's confusing for me too. I think having a 3:3 alternation would be better and fix this issue while still being able to tell two storylines in the same chapter.
Fox 28th Apr 2018, 1:13 AM edit delete reply
Milllll and JS, I agree with both of your points. It does really mess with the tension and a 3:3 would probably work better.

Ah yes, the old "Water Break n' Run". Classic.
